Discussing effect 1 -Revised

　The biggest transition of my life is that I came to an English-speaking country. As I had dreamed of going to America for a long time, I was very glad to have the opportunity to take a journey to a foreign country; needless to say, there were some unavoidable changes which affected me a lot. To begin with, I got used to the living style of Americans immediately when I got there because the locals were very friendly and easygoing. Consequently, I made friends with lots of people and loved this place right away. Moreover, I improved my English speaking ability day by day, so I could communicate with them fluently. On top of that, I got the opportunity of jobs more easily for I was superior to those who didn’t know Chinese. Besides, I could travel all over the world without language barrier by means of speaking English. In this way, I could fully enjoy my trips and broadened my horizon for I contacted different people and different cultures. Last but not least, I met my boyfriend in the United State and we also got married there. I thought I was so lucky that it was a gift from God. In sum, I was satisfied with this decision I made, and the results were truly what I wanted.
